[Mac_crypto] Questions about PGP for MacOS 9.x

Hello, everyone!


I'm helping a friend using MacOS9 with her initial steps into personal
cryptography. She's been looking at PGP 6.x, for use with Outlook Express.


My questions are:

(1) Should she stay with PGP 6.x, or should she upgrade to PGP 7?

(2) How should she go about installing PGPDisk? (last included,
apparently, in PGP FW 6.0.x); should she install 6.0.x first, then
6.5.x/7.x? Should she do parallel installs in different folders? Can you
mix and match PGP components with the MacOS installer?

(3) The Klima-Rosa vulnerability- are any MacOS versions of PGP safe, or
has the fix only been applied to GPG? (I know that Windows-PGP ckt
versions after 6.5.8 are safe)
