Security Update 2002-09-20 is now available.  This update fixes a
potential vulnerability introduced in Terminal version 1.3 (v81) that
shipped with Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) which could allow an attacker to
remotely execute arbitrary commands on the user's system.

The Terminal utility is updated to version 1.3.1 (v82) with this
Security Update.

Affected systems:  Mac OS X systems with Terminal version 1.3 (v81)
Earlier shipping versions of Terminal do not have this vulnerability.

System requirements:  Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar)

Security Update 2002-09-20 may be obtained from:

   * Software Update pane in System Preferences

   * Apple's Software Downloads web site:
