Title: Security Analyst

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to assist with the
security response effort at Apple. Be part of the team to analyze new
security alerts and work with teams across Apple for timely
resolution. Particular responsibilities include:

* Work with engineering teams to analyze new security alerts
* Track and manage to completion any known potential security issues
* Prepare external communication on security topics
* Conduct internal audit of Mac OS X software for security
enhancements
* Create training for development teams on security concepts and
coding practices
* Provide guidance to teams in enhancing the overall security
functionality

The candidate will need to have strong programming skills, a knowledge
of Mac OS X or related operating system, and software security
experience. Creative problem-solving, analytical, and deductive
reasoning skills are critical for this position. Also critical are
solid communication skills, with the ability to generate well-written
documents as well as personal and team communication skills.

Position requirements:

* Strong Mac OS X or Unix experience
* 5+ years experience in programming languages
* Experience in software security
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to solve complex problems independently
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Ability to track and manage numerous parallel activities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
