CRYPTOCard's CRYPTO-Server X Authentication Solution Wins "Best of Show"
Award at Macworld

CRYPTO-Server X, The First Authentication Solution For The Mac, Makes It
Simple To Positively Authenticate All Mac OS X Panther Users

MACWORLD EXPO, SAN FRANCISCO, January 9, 2004 - CRYPTOCard's
(www.cryptocard.com) CRYPTO-Server X, the first authentication solution for
the Mac, has been awarded the highly-prestigious, "Best of Show," award at
Macworld 2004. CRYPTOCard's CRYPTO-Server X, the authentication solution
designed specifically for Mac OS X version 10.3 "Panther," makes it simple
to positively identify all Mac users attempting to access a VPN or
Web-based system by coupling something in the users possession (a
multi-function smart card, hardware token, or software token), with
something the user knows (their PIN). CRYPTO-Server X generates a one-time
password for every log-on attempt, making stolen credentials useless to
hackers.

CRYPTO-Server X's familiar ATM-style protocol eliminates the user
resistance often encountered when organizations attempt to implement an
additional layer of security, while the solutions CRYPTO-Server
authentication server generates a unique password for every log-on attempt,
so that users no longer have to memorize complicated credentials -
significantly reducing the help-desk costs associated with resetting
forgotten passwords, and the obvious security risk resulting from users
writing down their credentials.

CRYPTO-Server makes it easy for organizations to create a token-deployment
database by simply importing existing company directories, while the
solutions CRYPTO-Deploy component makes it equally simple for
administrators to instantly distribute software tokens from any computer,
to any user. CRYPTO-Server X's versatile software tokens can reside on a
users desktop, laptop, or multi-function smart card, while the back-end is
hosted on a Panther Server.

"CRYPTOCard is incredibly proud that the Apple experts at Macworld selected
CRYPTO-Server X for a "Best of Show" award," said Malcolm MacTaggart,
President & CEO, CRYPTOCard Corporation. "CRYPTOCard has always believed
that its authentication solutions should not only provide high-level
security, but, much like the Mac operating system itself, provide
intuitive, state-of-the-art functionality," MacTaggart continued. "This
award underscores CRYPTOCards commitment to provide its customers with the
ultimate in cost-effective authentication technology."
